Delete the user

A Cartie user and all its data can be deleted at any time, from inside the app or by email. Deletion is final.

Scroll down to Delete the user

Confirm with Delete permanently. Anyone who signed in with Apple is asked to confirm with Apple once more, so the link to Apple is removed too.

Deletion happens at once, on every phone the user is signed in on.

2Without the app

Send an email to banueldogayman@gmail.com from the address used to sign in to Cartie, with the subject "Delete user". It is deleted within a week, and a confirmation is sent.

3What is deleted

  • Sign-in details: the ID, the email address and the name given at sign-in.
  • In every account where the user was alone: the whole account, with all its lists, templates, coupons and reminders.
  • In shared accounts: the user's "Only me" lists and coupons, reminders, name, character, stars and looks.
  • The notification addresses of every phone.

4What stays, with others

Shared lists, templates and coupons in an account with other people stay with them, because they are theirs just as much. Items the user added stay, without the user's name. If the user managed the account, management passes to someone else in it.

A deleted user can't be restored. Signing in again after deletion starts from zero.
